Pint Dreams

A Tin Box Theatre production, Holding Space Commission and UK tour (2013-2014)

Maggie is a perpetual wanderer. Desperate to see new places, meet new people and collect their stories, she is travelling around the country one pub at a time.  Join her for a drink, some hearty food and a chance to hear the stories that have shaped her journey, before you continue on yours.

Pint Dreams interweaves traditional storytelling with live music and puppetry in a short immersive piece created for pubs, commissioned by Holding Space Consortium (Warwick Arts Centre, Birmingham Repertory Theatre, mac, Black Country Touring and Stan’s Cafe). Pint Dreams toured to pubs in the West Midlands as part of Theatre Fever and to London as part of Camden Peoples Theatre’s Sprint festival in March 2013 (Click here to see where Maggie has been so far).  Pint Dreams toured to venue bars, music festival beer tents, pubs and festivals around the UK in 2013-14, including Edinburgh Fringe in association with Pleasance. Full tour dates here.
